1) Is NOW a good time to be investing in real estate? (I heard it sucks right now)
Real estate does indeed “suck” right now IF you try and do it the traditional way. But if you are smart and use proven strategies that work in today’s market, your timing couldn’t be better. As the market slingshots back up from the 2008 real estate crash a huge transfer of wealth is occurring and me and my students are taking full advantage of the opportunities all around us. Each month I wholesale / rehab 7-15 houses using none of my own money or credit, and work my real estate business part-time!
2) Is “no money down” real estate investing real? I mean, can I truly flip a house without needing money or using credit?
Yes you can…in fact it’s actually really simple. Each year my students and I flip tons of properties without using money, credit, or taking on any unnecessary risk. You don’t need a real estate license, you don’t need a fancy office, heck…you don’t even need a good personality. You just need to educate yourself of the right strategies, and set up the right business and marketing systems.
3) Can I be successful in real estate working part-time?
Absolutely! With the correct approach you can build a profitable, scalable and flexible real estate investing business in your spare time. We all start as weekend warriors and we know plenty of part-timers who use real estate as a steady source of extra income. My gut tells me though that after the big real estate checks start rolling in you’ll probably take the opportunity to tell your boss to shove it. But if you do prefer going to work everyday over sitting on the beach drinking Mai Tai’s, suit yourself.
4) Can I get rich investing in real estate?
You better believe it! More people get rich with real estate investing than any other income strategy out there and last year there were more new millionaires made through real estate investing than in any year in history. When I started learning about real estate over 10 years ago my main goal was to make $4,000 a month so I could quit my job. After a year of struggling I finally met my first mentor and he showed me how to crack the code and reach my $4,000 a month goal. Then my whole life changed. My second year I set a goal of $10,000 a month which I BLEW away, and by the end of my third full year in the business I was making 7 figures. Success leaves clues and if you are smart you will learn the in’s and out’s of the business from someone already doing it the right way instead of trying to re-invent the wheel.
5) Will I get rich investing in real estate?
Henry Ford once said “whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.” Despite what the ‘gurus’ might tell you, real estate is not easy. However, real estate investing is very SIMPLE. People from all walks of life build fortunes in real estate. You don’t have to be great with people, great with organization or great looking. If you did, I would be in big trouble. All it takes is the right mindset, an ability to follow directions, and a willingness to work hard.
6) Does Cody Sperber actually invest in real estate?
Yes, unlike most of those other so called “guru’s” that teach outdated theory because they don’t actually invest themselves, I am actively buying 7-15 houses on average each month in multiple markets across the United States and I only work my real estate investing business part-time.
7) Is Cody Sperber’s students successful?
When I decided to become a real estate educator and mentor it was always my #1 goal to create a movement that empowers like-minded entrepreneurs to create business and marketing systems within their real estate investing businesses that allow them to truly live the “real estate investor lifestyle”. As I became a better teacher, friend, and mentor to my students more and more of them started having success. Now years later I am honored and privileged to say I have hundreds and hundreds of successful students from all over the United States, Canada, and abroad. 8) What real estate investing strategies should I be focusing on?
Wholesaling, rehabbing, owning rentals…the list goes on and on. You may have heard about different ways to do real estate investing, but have no idea of what strategy works best in today’s market. Not to worry, I’ve got you covered. Over the last 10+ years I have wholesaled over 700 houses, rehabbed over 200 houses, owned single and multi-family rentals, structured creative “terms” financing to buy and sell properties, and even bought / sold property inside my self-directed IRA.
